My daughter(17) is trying the last couple of weeks to open a bank account for her wages to be paid into. She keeps getting told there’s a mistake in the first line of address, which there isn’t. She’s been into the branch twice and they told her it all looks fine, no reason why it shouldn’t go through. We’re being passed from one person and section to another and getting a bit cheesed off now.

    Hi Betty-ireland,

Thanks for getting in touch and we're sorry to hear that this has been your experience.

Can we ask you to send us a PM with your daughter's name, mobile number and email address? We can certainly flag this with our account opening team to get in touch with an update.

    Thanks,
    Richard
