Recommend hotel for staycation

I have my leave coming up after two weeks and trying to find a nice hotel near beach either in Co. Kerry or Galway or Clare. But prices are very high, even though I am looking for mid-week dates.

Any website to get hotel deals please?

Yes, it's exceptional, pity you missed out.

Keep it in mind for the future.

I think he best thing you can do is go on Tripadvisor and grab what you can, demand is high. Consider upping the budget. Desperate times, desperate measures.

It's a JOKE! We went for a night in Galway, to help out some mates who couldn't go at the last minute and would have lost cash. I was told it was €200 a night full board. Which is steep... but what the hell, DYING for a night away. Got there an it was in an industrial estate miles outside Galway city. And it was €220. And it we had to eat at 6pm... in the bar! And finally it turned out that we were not full board and by the time we had already received our TERRIBLE food it was too late to cancel. The food was DREADFUL! Kotfa Kebab made of frozen supermarket hamburger meat, with coleslaw instead of yoghurt. Burger was the same awful meat. I didn't even know it was possible to still get burgers this bad in Ireland. So all told, we were down nearly €400 for one very disappointing night.

Never again. Buy a tent is my advice.
