Newbie question here, so sorry if it has been asked before. I wander a lot in boards but seldom if ever into this forum

Could I use this modem to directly wire-in my desktop computer via ethernet cable? The modem sports two ethernet sockets: LAN1 and W/LAN. I don't have a wireless dongle on my desktop and I will be staying in a house with no wired broadband in a weeks time so need broadband access. Thanks

Yes, you can connect your Desktop to the LAN1 port
