Credit Union transfer bounce

    My local credit union has a cap of €3,000 a month to transfer montly from a banking account.

    I tried to transfer €2,500 and the next month the intention is to do the same. However, I done this on Monday and the transfer bounced back to my banking account.

    IBAN and BIC are correct. I currently have €20 sitting in my credit union so I'm not over the 15k savings limit they have capped in my local CU.

    A friend also had the same issue. Does anyone know why this is happening?

    Only the Credit Union can tell you why it bounced, call them

    Cheers Spocker. Gave them an email there. I'm HOH so ringing isn't a possiblity. Hopefully they can deal with my query over email

    Cap is at €2,000 a month and not €3,000. My bad.
