Parents are getting rid of sky so I've suggested that they replace their old TV and get a new one that has both saorview and satellite tuners so that they have 1 remote and easy to use etc. They are having a new aerial fitted and will retain the sat feed.
It will be used for general TV watching, soaps, news, game shows etc, and maybe Netflix at times.

I would be grateful if you could recommend a suitable TV that has the 2 tuners and also fits the few criteria below,

     - 39 - 43 max size
     - Decent sound (I dont want them to have to get a sound bar)

    Budget 4-500 max

    Thanks for the post Batman1,

If you're looking for a TV with both Saorview and Freesat I would go with an LG as they have a Freesat Tuner and a great smart hub.

You could go for the LG 43UN73006 at 449 euro which would be one of the better entry level 4K Tvs:

Let me know what you think!

    Kind regards

    Sounds reasonable.

Just to confirm, this one is saorview ready as well?

Spec says Freeview not available in roi but assuming the same tuner used for saorview?

    Hi Batman1,

Thanks for getting back to me! It has both Saorview and Freesat built in - the Freeview HD tuner is the same as the one used for Saorview!

Let me know what you think!

    Kind regards

    David
