Were building an ensuite extension to our bedroom and there not really enough room for a separate walk inn wardrobe, Are cabinets inside a bathrooms a Good idea or not ?

I'm a bit conserved about condensation from the shower making cloths moldy. The room is 3.5 x 2.5mtres. The room wil have an extractor and also a windows left open or at least vented full time & under floor heated flooring,

    Dont do it :)
There's a reason you have never seen it done before!

What room is next to the proposed bathroom wardrobe? Can you not make the bathroom smaller and give the wardrobe space to another room.

We have a wardrobe in our bathroom. But only because it was there when we bought the house. The bathroom is large and built in the early 80s so can only assume they were stuck for what to put in the space. So built in wardrobes. We use it for storage of random bits and some towels.

Would never put clothes in it ever. For all the reasons a humid environment shouldn't be used to store clothes.

Split the ensuite room into two rooms.
Can you give up the shower and just have toilet and sink to make that area smaller .
There a toilet sink combo for space saving in tiny spaces.
Then set up the other side for the walk through wardrobe to access the toilet.

It used be the case though that toilets and wardrobes were combined into garde-robes in castle bedrooms - the theory being that the ammonia would kill the fleas in clothing hung in there. Lynx how are ye!
