Going to replace the old induction hob with a LPG gas hob shortly

Do you need to get a qualified gas fitter to do this or if you have a decent competancy level of working with piping etc and gas is it ok?

Idea is to have the gas bottle outside the back window, short run of about 1.5m of copper and flex pipe

Need a registered gas fitter for that job.
