Because Pearse station needs a bit of work, there is no direct Dart route through the city for the whole weekend. This would never happen in any other country. In other countries, they would work around the train route allowing the trains through.
On the NY Subway, the only time this would happen is if there are tracks needing replacing.

How do you propose they bring a train from greystones to Connolly if Pearse station has issues. There is no other way around as it's 2 line due to the high rise above Tara street.

They are fixing the glasswork. Easily worked around.

Easily worked around without disrupting the service. Maybe not necessarily stopping at Pearse, but allow the train through at least.
