laying 60 x 60 cm porcelain tiles with cut limestone edge kerbing have compacted base done. Any recommendation for bedding. Do I butt joint or 5 mm joint with silicone sealant. Sand cement mortar mix or is there some proprietary bag material I need. Also any recommendation for porcelain tiles sealer and when to apply.

5mm is recommended , with grout.
Where are you planning to use the silicon

Porcelain don’t need to be sealed.

An 804 base, 5:1 mortar, SBR primer on back of tile.
