Travel to UK for operation

    Hi guys,

Our little guy unfortunately looks like he may need to go to UK for a particular surgery that cannot be performed here due to his age.

Does anyone know procedure around this? We are covered thankfully for the procedure, but as my wife and I will be accompanying him what is the situation with quarantine etc..

Do we make travel arrangement ourselves even if he is very ill? Can we enter UK on arrival/Ireland on return without need to quarantine?

Operation looks like taking place in next 10 days at latest/possibly sooner, we are waiting on the call.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

You can enter UK fine without quarantine, not the case for return to Ireland however (unless it has changed in the last few days). Apparently people are travelling via Belfast to avoid quarantine rules, not sure if that's an option.
