    Hi,

Apologies if discussed before but can't find anything on Revenue or on this site. Pre-Brexit, you could reduce your VAT bill with VAT paid in the UK. Post Brexit, is this still the case?

Any help on this is much appreciated.

I think you may have misinterpreted something - you cannot offset VAT paid in a Member State against a VAT liability in another member state. There are other mechanisms in some circumstances of getting it back but that is not one of them.

What are the facts of what you are trying to resolve?

Thanks Dman for the response. I have definitely misinterpreted here and this simplifies everything greatly for me.
