Thermal Store and hot water

    Hi,
I'm posting on behalf of my Mum and Dad. They have recently moved and their new place has a Worchester boiler and a Thermal Store. There is a stove that we're told just needs connecting to the system, and it's solar ready.
Over the next couple of months they will get the stove connected and the solar panels for the hot water. In the meantime they can't seem to heat the water without having the heating on. We've tried turning the boiler dial for the radiators to minimum and water to max, but that's not heating the water.
Can anyone advise me? Also when we are looking for someone to get the stove connected do we need someone who specialises in thermal stores?
Thanks very much for any advice.
