Laptop Recommendation

Looking to purchase a new laptop which will be used mainly for college work. Course will involve programming and running virtual machines. Will also be used for some photo editing/photoshop.

Looking for something well built, weight/portability not a major factor for me, won’t be carrying it around.

Budget under €1k

Anyone have any recommendations?

this and upgrade the ram with a 1 x 16gb stick to bring it to 24gb

doesn't look gamery really with the led keyboard off

screen is colour-accurate for photo editing

the 6-core Ryzen is a powerful unit for running VM's etc - beats the equivalent 10th gen 6th core i7 h cpu

it's plastic chassis but it's well built

otherwise if you fancy something metal build and lighter
