Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bought a German BBQ - need advice on gas connection

Hey, with the run on all things garden living, I though I made a smart move by ordering a bbq from Amazon.de. Got excited when it arrived and put it together quickly enough, but then realised that the regulator didn't look like any I've seen before (btw, I've never owned a gas bbq before). I've attached a few images.

The (German) instructions say that it's for use with propane, 50mbar and I think there's a reverse thread on the regulator.

The regulator type is C31-50 like this one here: http://m.cgasvalve.com/gas-regulator/low-pressure-gas-reguator/holland-low-pressure-gas-regulator.html

From searching, I believe that it could be a problem to use a 37mbar regulator fitted to an appliance designed to work with 50mbar, but I'm not sure on this.

I haven't had much joy with web searches and I'd be really grateful if anyone here has any idea of what I could do to get this connected to the propane cylinders sold in Ireland for safe use.
