How to tune satellite channels on Toshiba Android TV

Set up my new Tosh TV that has dual tuners but the setup installed the terrestrial channels only. I was expecting it would do the same for the satellite channels but it didn’t. I took a look around but couldn’t see how to add them. Has anyone got a suggestion how to get the Astra satellite channels installed?

I think you may need to set location to UK so it tries to tune in Freesat channels.

What satellite dish setup do you have? Was it previously used for Sky Q?

Standard satellite dish only ever used for Astra FTA channels. I selected Ireland over the UK as region so as to receive the Saorview channels. When I set the tuner to Satellite it’s looking for details about the satellite that I don’t know. I was expecting, incorrectly as it seems, to be able to select the Astra satellite and then do the scan.

It should be looking for 28.2E, see if there's an option to search for this.

A company called Vestel make a number of the tv brands sold here, Walker, Nordmende and Toshiba. On the Walker brand at the satellite tuning stage there is an option to download a list of channels from SatCodx, this gives the main channels in a reasonable order, there may be a similar option on the Toshiba.

Thanks for the suggestions. Had to hook back up the old Telly to get the soaps for the Mrs so will have to schedule another go later.
