I hate the litter carry on, the only going falling to the ground will be my body at the end of the night.

Memo to the geniuses running the country: delaying reopening of hospitality sector actively encourages drinking on the street. Young people are going to socialise of a fine weekend, just try boxing them into a corner. Here's the solution to the pollution: pubs/restaurants/cafes are self-regulating environments, problem solved.

Likely to be closed off like it was on Sunday.

Great to see people out enjoying themselves but really wish they'd just take their rubbish home instead of dumping it.

    South of North William Street.

Where’s north William street? and what’s the big deal with William street, was there a memo sent around that I missed?

I agree. But I'd say they will be forced into opening as there is other plans being made on socials with a lot of people chiming in so it could end up worse

You'd not be considered to be a cool kid if you didn't get it.

    West of East William Street.

Wouldn’t be the owner of a compass here but I don’t think west of east is north

Which is quite bad news for Leo Varadkar, who seemed to be relying on a poor weather forecast to save him from governing this weekend.

But now its likely to be fine and sunny, the authorities may have to follow up their decision to encourage an outdoor summer with some actual responsibility for it.

Bins, toilets, transport and most importantly policing.

I didn't say it was. I know it's late, but have a hard ol'think about it.

There's debate about whether William St. West will be closed or not.

    I was outraged...utterly indignant! ...not.

The rubbish was appalling in fairness. We need to open up social venues now that Summer is here. People need to socialise as the vaccination rate increases and young people are always getting the blame...rather unfairly methinks.

I’ll not be partaking, but get our city and town centres ready for people heading out for the evening.

I though we'd learned our lesson about the bats.

South William St is on the Southside of Dublin, its the street where Grogan's is. It runs from Peter's Pub near the SSG shopping centre down to The International Bar. Full of pubs and fancy hairdressing places.

North William Street is on the Northside, surprisingly enough. It runs from Ballybough down to the North Strand, parallel to the Roayal Canal. There's a couple of schools there and a church named St Agatha's, where a huge cohort of inner city Dubliners made their communion and confirmation.

The only pub on this street is Lowry's, which is an absolute kip. I went to a pub quiz there one night and the first questions was "are you lookin' at my bird?"

    Hope this helps.
