Protecting bottom laptop whern stacking laptops

I use my laptop on a stand to raise the screen. When I switch between my home and work laptops it's just handier if I was to close my work laptop and put my home laptop on top of the work one. To protect heat transfer to my work machine does anyone have any advice on what I could put between them, it doesn't need a cooling pad but heat deflection would be good.

    Any advice appreciated.
