    Hi
I currently have an AT120LP running through a Sony micro system (CMT-SBT100B) which sounds ok but am looking for a bit of an upgrade.

My TT needs a new stylus, but I'm thinking of selling it on anyway and replacing it with a Project Debut Carbon. The alternative is to buy an Ortofon 2m Red and fit it to the AT120LP.

Do you think overall that the Project is an upgrade over the AT?

For the rest, was thinking of pairing B&W 607s with a Marantz PM6007 .. do you have any experience of that pairing? I use bluetooth quite a bit in the current set up, so I could add a bluetooth receiver - but any suggestions of an amp with bluetooth built in that would pair well with those speakers?

    Thanks for your help!
    Kevin

    Hi Kevodaly.

    Many thanks for the post.

The AT120LP is a decent turntable but the Project Debut Carbon is in a whole other league :)

The PM6007 paired with the 607 S2 would make an excellent system. We have demoed that setup many time here at the store and it sounds fantastic.
The 529 Euro on the PM6007 would be the best I could offer but I could the 607 S2 with it for 465 Euro. (I could also throw in 2 or 3 meters of speakers cable free of charge.

If you wanted an amplifier with built in Bluetooth you could check out the Yamaha RN602 coming in at 449 Euro
    https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-201953-yamaha-rn602-black-black-network-stereo-receiver.aspx
Very well spec'd amp and also sounds fatastic!

You could also just add a Bluetooth receiver to the PM6007 like the Mee Audio priced at 99.99 Euro
    https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-205204-mee-audio-af-ch-connect-hub-two-way-bluetooth-transmitter-receiver.aspx

    Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks a million for the quick reply Kenny.

I'm leaning towards the Project Debut Carbon for sure.

I saw an 'open box' PM6007 on your website - is that still available? https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-14407-marantz-pm6007-black-clearance-stereo-amplifier.aspx

Let me know a total price including the turntable please and I will have a think about it then.

    Thanks again
