New high pressure pump, fuel filter and four new injectors, flush the fuel lines and tank.

More than the value of the car?

Try and get a rake of second hand bits. Definitely more than the value of the car for new items.

Problem is if you don't do all the above and do it properly, if there is any filings remaining it will start the process all over again and wreck another pump and set of injectors.

Would suggest that if you are going with second hand stuff to make sure that the pump you are getting is checked out, so that it isn’t breaking up also. If it is, you’re back to square one and down a lot of money again.

If it’s the high pressure system (and not the PD), pump is usually €450 to recondition, new injectors are roughly €200 each and rail repair with new valve and sensor is about €250.

    Hope that helps.
