Buying bathroom equipment online v through plumber?

    Shopping for bathroom suite and shower suite. More competive online than brochures gro. Plumbing supplies but he said not to mind the prices, assuming there is dif trade prices but we don't have any idea of the trade prices so do finding it hard to pick out things.

    Usually a little cheaper through plumber, but it won't be a night-and-day difference so decide on what you want from looking online but maybe knock off a couple of euro

    Only thing is if you want particular fittings some plumbers will just pick up something vaguely similar that's whatever they had in stock/what they're used to buying/ "ah sure look, you're wasting your money with that, I got (totally different product) instead" / "ah sure it's grand" and then you're stuck with the wrong thing.

    Sometimes online gear isnt as easy to fit. And reliability isnt great.

    Stick to known brands. Most of the cheaper stuff is cheaper for a reason.
