Best way of insuring a weekend car?

Both myself and my OH have daily cars, and policies in our own names. I am also a named driver on hers. We both have full NCB.

The way things are, one NCB = one car, so whatever NCB we have won't matter? Does the whole new policy need to be taken out for the weekend car?

The weekend car is only 17 years, Autoline won't quote for classic insurance until it is at least 20 years.

Is there a way to insure it without being charged an arm and a leg for taking a new policy from scratch?

    Thanks

    Look for "multi car policy".
