Anyone any ideas about a battery energiser not working.

    It is a 12v shockrite.

Never got wet, and positive and negative terminals look fine.

Is there a fuse inside or is it reparable?
70 euro for a new one so was hoping to fix

If you leave them out and not on turned on, the moisture can corrode the copper in them. Happened to my Gallagher battery one. a few years back. I left it out for maybe a month at the end of the grazing.
I opened it up and the copper on the coil had corroded away. I unwound the wire one turn and soldered it back on. That was years ago and it's still working fine.
Neighbour got one fixed recently and all it was just the on/off switch that was gone. Only way to know is open it up, get a meter and check what you can. After that get an expert to look at it. :D
