    Hi,
Want to head out Sat with some friends on a hill walk/mountain climb that's not far from the city/Glanmire, ideally within an hour or less.

For the walk/climb, a 3-4 hour round trip would be ideal.

    Thanks,
    Pa.

Corrin Hill near Fermoy or The Galtees (but you would wanna know how to navigate - easy when the weather is fine but it was turn nasty v quick up there)

Galtees or glen of Aherlow. I was up Bane Hill in the Galtees yesterday and it was a great day for it. Got soaked coming out of Lough Curra a couple of weeks ago so it was a pleasant change!
Good walk outside Killavullen also and the Ballyhouras near Ardpatrick are great.

The Ballyhouras are good and not severe climbing. Lovely views across the Cork Tipp Limerick borders. The local community have made great efforts to build up the area as a place for outdoor activity. Check it out online.
