Any text-to-speak add-on recommendations for Sitefinity websites?

    Hi all,

    Wondering if you might have any text-to-speak add-on recommendations for Sitefinity websites?

    Wordpress used to (still do?) have Browsealoud etc but it looks like its not SF compatible? (could be wrong)

    Most options SF have recommended are at the local/user end of things, adding Chrome extensions, using plugins and so on...but I'm looking for something to add at website/source level

    Late response I know, but do those add-ons really add value? Browsealoud seem to have made a great business out of getting site owners to pay for something that most end users already have freely available to them. If someone uses JAWS screen reading, they will have it configured and tuned to their own preferences, and won't want to use a different reader. Anyone else who needs to use a screen reader should well be familiar with NVDA or whatever reader they want to use.

    Who do these add-ons help?

    Thanks for that - appreciate it.

    Well the short answer is that obviously the add-ons should help the user - that's what the client intends.

    However, the irony is that I made many of your points to the client in question, who's website our company manages - that many of the 'solutions' are on the user/local side of things really. They're a legal firm and there is an intense focus on 'accessibility' for the website. We are engaging in a large appraisal of the whole site to this end in due course, for every accessibility aspect of the site.

    Just out of curiosity how are you familiar with the area?
