For anyone who plants under DAFM's Native Woodland Scheme, what do you expect to gain in the long-term from the scheme?

We will be planting NWS at the beginning of next year.
All ground that is wet and rushy.
    Things we expect from it,
Firewood I would imagine from thinning.
A nice forest at the edge of the farm.
Once premiums are finished, I would let the cattle in perhaps for shelter.
    That's it really.

Great for wildlife too... Native trees are insect factories, meaning lots of food for wildlife..
