Insurance for a single car family

Myself and my wife have a car each. Going forward it looks like we will both be working from home and there is no need for 2 cars. How does this work for insurance if we both use my car? She is already a named diver but she doesn't want to lose her no claims bonus. I hear this goes after 2 years. Could we insure it in my name for one year and hers the next? Or do insurance companies have a policy for this sort of thing?

That's exactly what you do. Multiple posts here say that lots of people do it.

Just an add on question to this. If the car is in my name, does it make a difference? Does the ownership also have to be changed?
