Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

PAYE Dispensation Application

Further to the below news from Revenue, can anyone help explain:

What does "PAYE Dispensation"mean, is it same as "PAYE Obligation"?
What does "30- day notification" mean, does it mean notify within 30 days?

I read below from the news from Revenue, but could not understand well.
If someone can help explain, I'd be so grateful!

"PAYE Dispensation Applications – During 2020, Revenue did not strictly enforce the 30-day notification requirement for PAYE dispensations applicable to short term business travellers from countries with which Ireland has a double taxation treaty who spen in excess of 60 workdays in the State in a tax year. This concession ceased on 31st December 2020 and, since 1st January 2021, employers are expected to adhere to the 30-day notification timeframe. Exceptional cases may be notified to Revenue as required."

Mate, you really need to hire an Irish accountant to help you sort through all these questions you're posting, if you don't have one already (and if you do, you need to be asking them for advice, not random strangers on the Internet...).
