I'm thinking about installing a solar panel on a South facing roof.

I live on the coast in Co. Clare and the weather can be stormy during the winter. Should that be a concern?

Should I go for hot water heating only or go in deeper with an inverter and battery storage? I read about a product called a solar syphon and was impressed.

    Any recommendations or comments welcome.

p.s. What sort of budget am I looking at?
