    I’d say yes.
Imravol for a quick result or sudocreme for slower results.

The sun will kill it if it ever comes. Wouldn’t bother treating this time of the year.

I’d agree that animal isn’t bad enough affected to make much difference to it, but we always treat it when it surfaces. If they were going through the chute for dosing or weighing we would smother it with sudocreme.

I bought in a heifer 2 months ago and she had a bit of it now has spread to about 10 animals

When I saw it first I didn't think it was ringworm if I had known I would have treated it straight away to stop it spreading

I think it's hard enough to stop it spreading. As someone else said it will disappear with the sun. Wear gloves if you're doing anything with them

Have a herd test on Monday so will get a better look at them. Good advice on wearing the gloves.

She was probably a little run down. Keep the minerals into her and it'll clear away by itself.

    Nope, that’s a cow.

Had one I bought in last March develop a wee touch of it, sprayed her down with bactakil 55 and a mineral supplement injection I got of the vet, seems to be going through right way since, dont think I will need to repeat the spray

Might be best to leave it, good weather due for the next week or so. It'll fix itself, ringworm is highly contagious too and you can catch it quite easily. I caught it from a calf tagging them outside and restraining them. Was at the start of summer in 2018 so was wearing shorts, had it on one of my knees. It wasn't painful really but very unsightly. Took about a month of tablets to clear it completely, good news though is that apparently I'm immune to it, in saying that, I wouldn't take the chance all the same!

I got it twice, 2 years apart, long ago, a round circle, bit bigger than a 2 euro coin.
Don't think it done me any harm, but was unsightly to have.

I got it very bad. Lost my hair. Went to specialists. Very lucky my hair grew back. It's very light though. I was 8 when I got it

    =========================
Yup, we got it from bought-in calves.
Suggest isolate or limit exposure to one or two herd mates.
Exposure to the sun kills it, but it's slow.
A shot from the Vet might be the most effective & solve problems fairly quickly.

Copper bolus helps too as copper is a natural fungicide.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Ya I've had it twice too, once on the arm and once on the stomach.

I meant to say mine was on the wrist, same place on both occasions.

Had the herd test today and vet said it was ringworm but said it would run it course and with a bit of sunshine it will disappear. He would be more worried about it if we were coming into the winter and housing starting. I thought mine were bad with it but he said no a bad case would have lost all their hair. He did mention copper as some of them had that copper deficiency look about them.
that's the next job. Thanks for the replies.

Just curious do any of ye keep ducks? Would ye let the ducks out where cattle are grazing or is that not an option?
