    Hi,
Need a 3 port with WiFi, router or ap on other side of house. Had a router with dhcp turned off but that died today. What's the easiest option. I need 3 ethernet connections. Cat5 at this location already

any wireless router will work like what you had set up before. Ask your friends a someone will have an old one gathering dust from an old internet connection.

If buying new just pick up a Netgear, Linksys, TP-Link, etc...

You can also get a switch and a separate AP (my preference).

I have a netgear switch alright and a cheap ap might do the trick.

it's under the tv so a black router/ap might look better.

    but
would something like this work - along with a switch ?

    thx

It would probably work be be slow as hell, its only N standard with 2.4 band. For not that much more money on Amazon you could get a dual band AC access point.
