Alexa and Kasa lights and plus not responding frequently

Hi, maybe some one has suggestions for me, it would be appreciated.

Live in an apartment and have 4 kasa smart lights, 2 Kasa smart plugs and SmartLife strip lights. Have Echo Show 8 in kitchen and echo dot 4th gen in bedroom.

On a regular basis Alexa says a Kasa device is not responding (never happens with strip lights). It can be any one of the devices at any time. In the Kasa app they are always responsive.

    I have tried the following:
    - Moved all devices to the 2.4g network including the Echo's
    - Removed all devices from Alexa and added them again
    - Did WiFi analysis and changed to the least congested channel.

What I have noticed is that when Alexa says a device is not responding and I go in and turn it on or off in the Kasa app, Alexa then seems to be able to control it immediately after.

There must be something wrong with my setup as I have read countless forum posts where people say it works perfectly for them or others have similar problems but the things I tried above have fixed their issue. Mine is so random though. My partner is threatening to remove them all!

Hi Derekeire, did you ever get this sorted out as I'm having a similar issue, my tp-link kasa smart plug keeps doing this and when I go into the kasa app, under the device it says "local only", later it will go back to being responsive to voice commands. All my other devices seem fine. Seriously at the point of giving up on it now.

Any help would be much appreciated

I gave up, the TP-Link Kasa plugs are useless. I replaced them with Meross plugs and they work without any problems.
