    Hi All,

I would be grateful if someone could help me. I received a Retention bonus payed into my wages today. I notice half of this bonus is already deducted at source and given to the Tax Man.
Can I do anything about this - Can I do any funky accountancy to get some of this back and if so how ?

    Thanks All,
    6541.

Its taxable income no different than salary, so in a word: No.

Move to a country that doesn't tax additional income at 51%, joke shop we live in.
