Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Driving along the quays leaving Dublin city centre

They did some works on the road near DCC where two lanes of traffic converge into one lane. It wasn't a problem during the pandemic proper, but now it's utter chaos due to more traffic. Should I start using the south circular? I work on pearse street.

The intent (well, one of them) of the works is to get as much traffic out permanently of the city centre as possible, so the North/South Circulars are now nearly always a better option than either set of quays.

The orbital routes under bus connects will mean there has to be measures put in place to limit car use of the north and south circular roads because the O route is arguably the most important part of the network. Bus gates will likely spring up in Rialto, Phibsboro and Portobello and the locals will definitely support this.

Have you considered travelling by an alternative mode? Afterall it is Pearse Street, hardly an area void of alternatives.
