The headlamps have 2 plastic clips at the top that are screwed into a support bracket.

These clips have broken off and is an nct fail.

    Anyone managed to repair them?
Seems a waste of a good headlamp to have to replace it.

I'd probably just use epoxy to fix them or you could get a bodyshop to do some plastic welding on them

Thanks. Ordered a set off ebay. Arrived today along with Gorilla Epoxy.

Will clean out and afix. If it doesn't hold too well I'll be getting a gas soldering torch to do some plastic welding.

Fixed both clips in place with Gorilla Epoxy.
Seems firmly in place to me. No movement.

NCT tester said that it "just about" passed.
    Whatever that means.

IMO, It either passes or fails. No "just about".
Either meets test criteria or not.

In this case it's subjective as it's the testers opinion.

But hey, I'm glad it's done.
Car retaxed, insurance renewed, nct done.
    Back to some summertime driving.
