Unofficial electricity supply

    About twenty years ago when my brother was building a one off house the ESB hooked up an unofficial electricity supply for the duration of the building work and they didn't charge for it. Is this still possible or is it possible to pay for such an unofficial electricity supply now?

    No. Won't get supply without signed off installation cert, so far as i know.
