Automatic fails on the test

    Some people telling me that it was tougher in the past and that some of the automatic fail points dont exist today


    So what do we need completely avoid doing that will lead to an automatic fail in the test.

    I know there's tonnes of stuff online but i just want a few of the facts and real life feel for what will be a total no no come test day

    Tbh, it's just one thing that will be an automatic failure - if the examiner has to intervene at any point because you're doing something dangerous.
    For example, not yielding to oncoming traffic or turning the wrong way down a one-way street.

    Any grade 3 fault.

    Through a red light,. Stop sign etc.

    Any wheel mounting the kerb.

    You can accidentally touch a kerb very gently and depending on the examiner will depend if or how they mark it. But it's not an automatic fail.

    If a wheel does go up on the footpath or mounts the kerb however it's game over

    This is more like what I'm asking about now. Out from the causing an incident/accident stuff. Kerbs was a big one of my concerns.

    The other one would be a roll back.
