Hard to get in the current climate. You could try this crowd.

They insure one of the BIG names in Ireland but may not talk to you.

    What makes it so difficult?

What makes insurance hard to get for guys with a reputation of speeding and poor quality driving?
One guy got lifted 2 weeks ago where the gardai called enough. They were waiting for him when he arrived at his place of work. Another guy cannot go into an area as the gardai are making him get an irish licence. To get it, he has to do theory test, the works. Driving on his Pakistani / Afghan licence is not tolerated.
