I bought a 2018 Skoda Octavia recently, I'm very happy with it, however I noticed yesterday there is a slight small rattle from the passenger's door, what would be causing this?

Would this be covered under the 2 year warranty I got?

Depends on what the issue is, could you upload a video? Does it happen when door is opened and closed? When cars been driven or going over bumps? Could just be something loose left in door bin that's moving around as the car moves

Check the terms of the warranty.

Also, if you can get someone else to drive the car sit in the passenger seat and try to find the exact location of the rattle.

it is only when driving on the road and you build up a bit of speed, it is a slight rattle, nothing in the door bin.

It's not too serious and very slight but it is annoying

I'd check the seat belt is secured properly and that the passenger seat bolts are fully tightened to the rails. I know what you mean, one of those niggling things that you can't stop noticing

When you open the passenger window does it sound louder? If you lock using central locking does that make a difference?

Good chance there's a bolt loose on the window rails or motor, probably nothing major.
I've seen this a lot in the garage.

Pull off the door card and check everything in case something is loose.

You can ask the dealer but it's unlikely covered under warranty. They may still help though so ring them first.
