Hi I am driving a mccormick Cx95 four wheel drive. When I take off in a low gear I hear a grinding noise, what's causing that?

That's the tractor telling you to stop. Time to ring your mechanic before you do further damage.

Drop hydraulic oil and see if there's metal

Use a magnet as if there is metal it might go under the skin
