Cracks in pointing under roof tiles

Some of the pointing (concrete?) below my roof tiles at both gable ends has cracks in it and I'd like to seal them up to stop water getting into the roofspace.

I see there is a product called Flexipoint that looks like it could do the job , just fill in the crack with this stuff and smooth is what i'm thinking.
Anyone done anything similar, do i need to bother with the Flexipoint stuff or would a regular concrete mix do the job even if its doesnt exactly colour match 9i'm not that bothered about that)?

We just got Dry Verge Caps installed, much better job then filling the mortar every few years

I used Flexim, more than thirteen years ago and its holding up very well.
Its sticky stuff to apply but works exceptionally well.

Thanks, did you remove the old mortar before or just filled in the cracks?
I've been watching some youtube videos and it seems diyable, just a bit hesitant about the removal of the old mortar if i went down that road as I'm worried about smashing the roof tiles in the process.

This was a new build, if the tiles are loose then just lift them and clean any loose mortar off them, then make a new bed of flexim and just sit them into that, I wouldn't try and clean off too much as you could crack tiles but anything loose should be removed imo.
