We are thinking about buying in Limerick but the house prices in the city keep rising out of our limit. One of our main requirements is good broadband internet so we can work from home.

Does anyone know what the internet is like in the towns around the county? Even which have terrible internet so we will know which ones to avoid.

One of the towns (well village, really) mentioned often on Boards for good broadband is Caherconlish, about 10 miles or so outside LK city

Clonlara is in Clare, just across the border/river and has SIRO.

So name them. and say whats wrong with Caherconlish.
    .
OP you will find, especially west of the Shannon that prices are moving on up as well due to the exodus from the cities.

Even here in Nenagh, a house listed in Jan at 295 is now sale agreed at 335
    Nothing special, D rated.
