Well its seems THAT is going away and in turn easing, plus "summer" is coming/kinda here

What places are good to go for picnic and walk etc with herself, in Dublin 15 and have a car so can travel within reason

Went to Castletown House and Parklands today and was a nice spot, short walk down to the river and see ducks etc (Brucie Bonus got the shock of how massive Intel has become)

Be tired of Howth, Bull wall, Dollymount then usual beaches (Rush, Skerries etc)

    Cheers

Trim, Battle of the Boyne site, Hill of Tara are all a relatively short drive away.

Phoenix Park, Royal Canal either at Castleknock or take the walk to Ashtown for lunch or there is a nice spot near Leixlip where a few barges are moored you could have your picnic there or go for a walk along the canal.

St. Catherine's Park has a food market in Sundays now or you can bring your own picnic there too and there are some lovely walks through it.
