    Hey folks,

Need to invest in a leaf blower as a significant part of my lawn is surrounded by mature trees. Thinking of this Dewalt as its powerful and online reviews are good. Also may add a dewalt battery strimmer in the future using the same battery.

Anyone have any feedback on it?

Sorry, no feedback on the actual machine, but if you are going for a cordless strimmer also, you should buy an extra battery or two online, and when these batteries wear out the tools are not dead, as replacement batteries are available from the same source.

I'd love to know how powerful it is? I use a lot of cordless tools but having used professional 2 stroke leaf blowers I can't imagine a battery powered one have enough power to be much use.

Wake me up when it's all over.

So would I , reviews seem very good. Still a bit hesitant though!

I'm always very cynical of reviews but even if genuine have the reviewers tried to blow a foot high pile of wet leaves across a lawn with it? I have, wet grass is worse used to windrow it for picking up by hand. The basic hand blower was never really up to the job and it only got easier when I got a knapsack blower.

Don't have one now, used to have the Stihl hand held one then one of their biggest backpack ones. I checked up a few years back thinking of buying another and I was over €600 so decided I didn't really need one after all :)

It was a 4hp version so the modern equivilent would be something like this https://www.caulfieldindustrial.com/p/stihl-br450cef-petrol-backpack-leaf-blower/p-g13965

Depending on what you are using it for the wheeled ones can be very good https://www.billygoat.com/eu/en_gb/products/wheeled-and-stand-on-blowers.html but more expensive again.
