    Good ****ing lord...

The amount of bloatware and ****e on this phone is incredible... The hardware seems fine, but Christ, there's some amount of crap to wade your way through. Are all Samsung's like this? I've spent about 3 hours attempting to delete crappy apps and at least an hour trying to get Google Assistant to work on the feckin thing...

What are you coming from. There are some good reviews about this phone. How much did you pay.

It's a work phone. I'm on a Pixel 4a myself and coming from some high quality HTCs and recently some Android One phones.

Just shocked that Samsung are years behind in that regard.

I've been tempted by this phone if I need to move on from my Note 9. Although it's a "mid-ranger" for CPU and price, it appears to be more than powerful enough for my non-gaming needs.

Bloatware can usually be removed, but sometimes with a little effort. I didnt have much with my note 9 2 years ago. Usually just samsungs own replacements for googles offerings - not a bad option to get out from under google usually.

I just don't have the patience for bloat. The Redmi has a bit but not too bad and not intrusive.

The issue with bloat, at least on Samsungs I've had in the past. Is they constantly update it.
So when the phone gets old, it was filled up with all these updates.
It would put me off Samsungs for life. Though they generally are excellent otherwise.

If the Pixel had 2 Sims I'd have one tomorrow.
Someone in the house has a pixel and lack of bloat is a Joy.
Motorola's are good in that regard also. I've kinda gone away from them.

Never liked Samsung because of the amount of crap. Wasnt a fan of Xiaomi at first but its not as bad - thats coming from an Android One phone. Small bit of getting used to but overall grand.

    Maybe try this?
