Advice Needed for Securing TV Bracket to Wall

Hopefully this is the right place to ask, if not please advise.

I intend to my TV, which is currently on a TV bracket on a wall, into a different room. This room, which is in a recently built extension, has much thicker insulation compared to anywhere else in house. By my measurements after drilling a hole into the prospective place, there is about 10cm of insulation before I hit the concrete wall.

I realise I'm going to need some well supported bolts - anchor bolts (so I've been told?) and I want to make sure this thing is well secured to the wall to hold the TV up (also important to have it up high with a little one running around). Don't know where to start looking and to be honest, I don't want the wrong ones going up and things falling down.

Wondering if anyone would have any particular suggestions on where to look? Honestly I'm a bit stumped so any help would be greatfully appreciated. I'll try to fill in any information gaps if there are any...

You could just multi tool out enough space for a 3x2 , fix it to the wall with 2 or 3 concrete screws, then screw the second 3x2 baton, to the one you have already fixed to the wall...

My mate provides a tv hanging service in south Dublin, so if you are located there and would prefer someone to do it for you, pm me...

Hey I recently mounted my TV on the external wall which included 60mm of insulation. These bolts I got on amazon are self tap and worked like a treat. They came in 150mm or 100mm lengths.

    no need for that
150/160 mm long, 10mm diameter express nails driven flush with the pb
use self tappers the right size, with 50mm net grip, into the hole in the express nail.
    ps

the beauty of the express nails is that there is no pressure on the pb, so no risk of cracking, as there is ff you put a big torque spanner on the concrete screws or frame fixings

Just use frame fixings - lots of other threads on this topic so have a look to help.

I've also used frame fixings for curtains poles because I was sick of repairing them, now you could literally swing of them.

Appreciate all that input guys. Definitely an education on what I need to look into. Going to look at the various options suggested and see which one works best for what I want to achieve and my skillset! Thanks!

I had similar, plasterboard wall, then approx 25mm insulation to the blocks. Used a multi tool to cut out space for the bracket, removed insulation then backfilled the void with timber battens. Drilled holes through battens and another 100mm into the block. Used M8 threaded bar and lock nuts cut to the right size along with Timco concrete resin. Mounted a 65” TV and full motion tv bracket onto this. Rock solid. Can post pics if you need.
