Just bought a car 2nd hand, got the registration docs thru.. And the car is classed as a bus (its a S350 so def not a bus)... Its tax is something ridiculous like 60 quid when I check online.
As its the first time taxing in my name I need to go into the tax office.
The motor tax office has made the mistake here, and has collected the lower tax off the previous owner for the past 4 years, is it incumbent on me to advise them and get the cars registration docs amended or what are the ramifications for me to continue to tax the car as it is.
