Is it a big deal to move an internal door?
There’s a light switch beside the door (on both sides of the wall).

How much do you need to move it by and is it a solid/supporting wall or just a partition wall?

    Thanks for the reply.
I want to move it the length of the door (in the direction of the light switches).
I don’t know if it’s a weight bearing wall to be honest.
It’s solid in that it is made of blocks.

    Bungalow ?
If you can look at the top of the wall you can see if there is anything resting on it.
I moved one myself earlier in the year on a solid wall.

    It is a bungalow.
Attic is floored for storage so I can’t just have a look unfortunately.
I won’t be doing the work myself, just wanted an idea of the level of awkwardness.
I thought the electrics would be the difficult part of the job.

You'll have to take a look at the top of the wall.
its not hard but messy as ****,
took me a solid days work to break out the new door, fit the frame & door and tidy up.

Then back to close up the old door board and plaster.

    Probably 3 days work .
