A day more or less nailed on for the sprinters to have their fun. Coverage from 11:30 I think.

Krists Neilands will be a non starter tomorrow having crashed on his way to the hotel after the TT. One man less to support Dan.

Luckily for him, Dan literally wouldn't know what to do with a support rider.

The only reason to watch this stage for more than 20 mins at the end is to hear Kelly talk. That’s probably a good enough reason for me normally, but it’s mother’s day here, so I may have to watch the sprint highlights.

Looks like a long day for these 3 lads.

They should be happy enough for now as 1 of them is guaranteed on the podium and a Jersey tonight!

I'm surprised nobody tried to bridge the gap when the gap was under 1minute.

You gave me a heart attack there until I realised you were talking about the US!

That poor Eolo rider was completely left hanging there by his team staff. Poor chap just wanted a push off on an incline.

Gaviria is going to be livid after that. Shouldered into the barriers by his own leadout man.

    Missed what happened Ewan

Wow is that what it was, I saw him with a foot unclipped and though he'd pulled a cleat or something.

I’ve just seen the sprint there. All over the shop. UAE the worst but no control at all

I had thought Ewan would clean up at the Giro but it was a horrible sprint from everyone (but the winner of course - no bad sprint when you win!)
