Downloading saved shows from Virgin Box

Hi there, I'm not sure if this is the right forum. Basically I am getting a new Virgin box next as it's being upgraded to the 360 or something. I have the older box (Pre Horizon) and I'm just wondering is there any way I can download and save the shows I have in the DVR section?? Thanks
