Hey guys, few bikes on ebay that I'm looking at in the UK, but all are collection only, seems to be a few delivery services though, can anyone recommend any, or equally any to avoid?

I bought stuff off pinkbike that way - ordered collection via parcel monkey.

DPD were a disaster in once instance.

Thanks Commanche, I've seen a few on gumtree now so just to figure out a way of making it secure.

Just wondering did you figure out a viable way?

I've pressed pause on it for the moment, though there are a few companies specialising in it. Some will deliver packaging before collection (meaning the seller will have to box it up) and that's unlikely if they can get a local buyer to just grab it as is.

Plenty of good stuff on gumtree and had contacted a few sellers but ultimately I didn't like the risk of sending that sort of money to a private seller without sight of bike etc. Just lost out on a couple of ebay bids too.
